Here are the pics that mardie186 got of T and I talking to Chris Colfer at the signing table. T was SO nervous, she begged me to talk to Chris for her so I did but by the end of it she was talking and smiling and waving at him. He really is magic.
In the first photo I am showing him T’s letter and explaining that she knows he’s working on a sequel so she has a request. He’s got his eyes on her the whole time and she’s looking off in the corner because she can’t handle it.
In the second, Chris is really trying to engage her by talking to her about the dragons possibly being in the third book. I was crazy excited to hear this and THIS is when she started to look and smile at him. We showed him the picture that she drew of Brian and Chris and he loved that too. I wish I had a photo of that, Brian had such an enigmatic , almost cheshire cat look to him.
Chris is smiling in that third photo because T actually had the guts to CORRECT him when he mistakenly thought she was dressed as Rapunzel. “I’m Sleeping Beauty!” “Oh I should have KNOWN that!” hahaha and by this time I am losing it because my daughter is being so brave and Chris is being so sweet to her and she is living her dream. We both thanked him so much and he /Alla thanked us for coming from so far away and Tanis waved and said “Bye Chris!” Then we went to the other room and she said “He’s just like us, mom! I can’t wait till I see him again!”
